Goolsby Farm Supply, Inc. was purchased by Alabama Farmers Cooperative in Feburary 1997, as a branch store for Andalusia Farmers Cooperative. At that time, the name was changed to Goolsby Farm Supply Coop, as a means to identify the store as a cooperative. In the fall of that year, the Farmers Favorite Fertilizer Plant was purchased as a part of Goolsby Farm Supply Coop.

In the following years, the building supply inventory was increased to offer the coop members a complete line of building products.

At this point, the name was changed again to reflect that Goolsby Farm Supply Coop is more than just a farm supply store it is also a building supply store. The new name became Florala Farmers and Builders Cooperative.

We now offer a complete line of farm supplies as well as building supplies.
